- How much can I borrow?
Between £500 and £25,000 for a tenant, and between £3,000 and £200,000 for a homeowner.
- Do you charge any fees?
We do not charge any fees on your loan unless we specify otherwise. There may be early redemption penalties (see below) but otherwise - should you cancel your application at ANY time, there will be absolutely no fees to pay - that we guarantee!
- What interest rate will I be charged?
This mostly depends on your credit rating and the type of loan you are applying for. For example a large secured loan will have a lower APR than a small unsecured loan. Our typical rates are published in the right, as is the range of rates that we have sold. Don't be put off by the high rates mentioned, as every loan is different. Your circumstances will dictate your loan rates!
- Do I need to own my own home?
You don't need to own your home. We deal with tenants on a regular basis and have a history of consistently providing great deals for our customers. We would recommend however that if you own your own home that you get secured loan, especially if you have bad credit! Don't worry if you are still not convinced, just fill out the application form, and we can discuss the options at a later date!
- What is included in a debt consolidation loan?
You can include credit cards, overdrafts, other loans, finance deals and store cards amongst other things. I essence, you will get a lump sum payment that will cover all your debts. Then you can pay off in one go to leave yourself with one lower easy monthly payment.
- I have a bad credit history, can I still get a loan?
Generally, yes - if you own your own home we can help in most cases. We can organise some good deals to fit your circumstances. We have expertise with bad credit, and we know how to use it!
If you are a tenant, don't worry, just fill out our application form, and we will find a lender with a great rate suitable to your circumstances.
- What if I want to pay my loan off early?
There may be early redemption fees, which you must be aware of when taking out your loan. This can vary for different loans, so we may be able to offer you a loan with no early redemption fees. Check before you sign on the dotted line!
The method for calculating the loan settlement figure varies however of loans up to £25,000 the maximum you will repay is calculated using "the rule of 78".(a calculation governed by the 1974 consumer credit act).
